Diploma diploma of Providence University (Providence University, PU; L 'Universite Providence, or "Jing Yi" for short, is a well-known Catholic university located in Salu District, Taichung City, Taiwan Province, China. Its campus covers an area of 30 hectares and is known as a garden-like campus.
The university is a member of the Taiwan Christian University Alliance and the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP). In 2017, the university joined the Alliance of Excellent Universities, whose members include soochow University, Ming Chuan University, Tamkang University, Fu Jen University, Chung Yuan University, Taipei Medical University and other 12 former private universities that have been founded for more than 50 years. Through complementing each other's specialties and teaching resources, each school allows students to study credits, borrow books, etc., and further apply for exchange, double degree or auxiliary department within the alliance.
